Husqvarna Viking has been making quality sewing machines since 1872.  Their product line heavily emphasizes the creative design side of sewing craft.  Viking models are high quality and some models are of a much higher price range than others you might find, but their users are most often impressed with their function and use. 

           Quilters are often fond of Viking machines for their high quality and usability.  Though, once learned these machines are excellent, they are sometimes confusing for beginners.  Their stitching capabilities are smooth and even, part of the fun in owning a Viking is in the design creativity that it opens.  Quilters can combine speed and durability with a great variety of stitches and embroidery features. 

          A model like the Quilt Designer II offers a long free arm, allowing for ample fabric space inside the machine’s arm.  It also offers the sewing advisor and four stitch D cards in order to expand your design choices.  Viking’s online resources are wonderful for creative sewer as well, offering education, patterns, and one free embroidery design a month for their consumers.  Their highest line products are expensive, but they are well worth it to the avid user.
