Plus Size Sewing Patterns

You'll find larger-size patterns in the pattern books of the major makes like Vogue, Simplicity and Butterick.  A browse in these books will give you a quick idea that there's a lot more on offer now than there was even just a few years ago.

Vogue and Butterick offer from a 6 right up to a size 22.  If you're not good at adjusting patterns for larger sizes, check out our recommended resources for companies which sell patterns up to 6X sizes.

Burda offer a comprehensive range of designs for the plus size woman in sizes 44-58.  These  stylish patterns from Germany offer simple step-by-step instructions and are designed for various levels of sewing competence.

Fashion Patterns by Coni - sizes from XL - 6X, that's up to a 66" inch bust size, offers designs to fit and flatter the fuller figured woman.

Sew Grand - offer designs of wearable clothes in specialty sizes.  Size adjusted for large busts and upper back adjustment.  You may need to make your own adjustments for your neck and shoulder measurements.
